Charlene Ausa (she/they) is a 1.5-generation Filipinx-Canadian and queer creative raised on unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm territory. As an Interdisciplinary Studies student with a focus on “Creative Expression in Social Justice,” she is interested in fostering engaging and supportive spaces for underrepresented identities through artistic and creative means. This is relevant to her position with ACAM as Special Projects Coordinator, specifically as co-facilitator for the 2026-27 ACAM Dialogues cohort, “Interconnected Stories: Exploring BIPOC Relationalities Amongst Asian-Canadians.”
In her spare time, she engages in poetry, music, and visual art, and spends quality time with loved ones.
