What brings you to the ACAM Dialogues cohort?

I am writing my honours thesis on relational narratives of wellbeing among Asian-Canadians. It is a lot of “me-search”, but also an exercise for exploring what it means face-to-face with Asian-Canadians to want to thrive in this country. The media and politics often corroborate a collective understanding shared of racial groups, but can be often untraceable to lived experiences of a minority of that group (and perhaps that minority is larger than we expect). I believe the reasons why people move countries are extremely interesting and we need to take more time to realize how peculiar the definitions of borders and legacy can be.
